I wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that while water meters are being read this month, there will be a blue flag placed next to each water meter. These are being placed to help the contractors that will be coming through and replacing the water meters to quickly identify where the existing meters are so they can be changed to the new radio read meters. please leave the flags in place, but if they need to be removed for mowing, please remember to put them back when you are done so that the process of the meter exchanges can take place as quickly as possible. These meters are a huge improvement for the City of Tracy and will help in identifying possible problems with our water system, such as leaks, before they become a huge problem. This will also get us away from needing to manually read the meters each month so we can focus on other parts of our water and sewer systems.
Thank you,
Sean Van Tol Sr
Mayor
